The Lotus Chronicles Companion Journal

You have read the chronicle. This is where you write your own. The Lotus Chronicles gave you thirty Japanese concepts and thirty pieces of one woman's story. This journal gives you the room to answer them. It does not retell the essays. It hands you the pen. Each of the thirty concepts gets four pages: a small practice to try today, space to find your own anecdote, questions to sit with, and a page for the haiku only you can write. Ma through Saisei, the space between all the way to starting again. There is no right pace. Work through one concept a week, or open to whatever one you need. The pages will wait. Keep it beside the books, or carry it on its own. Either way, this is the part of the chronicle that becomes yours. Coil bound so it lays flat while you write.
