That is who I write for, and that is who this house was built to serve. So before anything else: welcome. I am genuinely glad you are here.

I am Dr. Stacey Lynn Lederberg. For more than twenty years I have worked as a psychologist, a special educator, a health and mindfulness coach, and a mind-body practitioner, alongside children, families, and educators. But underneath every one of those roles there was always a writer. I wrote to make sense of what the families I served were living through, and I wrote to make sense of my own life, which has included its share of reinvention, loss I did not see coming, estrangement and hard-won repair, and a daughter who became my closest companion. The writing was never separate from the work. Told honestly, it was the work.

For a long time that writing lived in scattered places. Some of it was clinical. Some of it was deeply personal. Some of it was practical enough to hand to a parent walking into a meeting the next morning. It served readers who did not always overlap. A parent preparing for family court is not looking for the same book as a woman reinventing her life at fifty, and neither of them is looking for a homeschool guide. But all of that work is mine, and all of it comes from a single conviction: that people deserve honest, rigorous, human help when they are in the middle of something hard.

So rather than force one voice to cover every reader, I built one house with three imprints. Each has its own audience, its own voice, and its own reason for being. Together they sit under one publisher that is unmistakably mine.

ExEd Press is where the house began. It is the disability, special education, and homeschool line, built from two decades of advocacy work with exceptional learners and the families raising them. These are the in-the-trenches resources: the guide you open the night before the meeting, the handbook you keep on the desk all year. If you are fighting for a child, this is your imprint.

Sage Lotus Press is the heart of the public brand. It is the women’s wellness, reinvention, and Japanese philosophy line, written for women navigating midlife, loss, and becoming. It holds The Lotus Chronicles and the guides that grew up around them. If you are starting over, or quietly wondering who you are now, this is where I would point you first.

Verity Press is the serious, research-grounded line. It holds the work on parental alienation and family court, written to stand up in front of judges and clinicians while staying usable by the parents living through it. Verity means truth, and that is the whole point of the imprint. If you are fighting to be believed, this one is for you.

Three imprints, three audiences, and one thread running through all of them. There is a literal version of that thread, a single shade of deep teal-sage that ties the covers together, but the real thread is the belief underneath. Whatever brought you here, you should not have to face it alone or unprepared. That is what every book in this house is for.
